Bingo cards for a class

Thirty different cards from one list, printed in one go, with no account and no upload. 40 squares are loaded below — enough for more different cards than anybody will ever print — and you can replace any of them with your own.

The cards
Printing

The set code reproduces this exact set of cards. Keep it and you can reprint card 14 on its own when a child loses card 14.

40 squares. 62,852,101,650 genuinely different cards, and two players share about 14.4 of their 24 squares — enough that the game has a winner rather than a scramble.

30 cards, 2 per page = 15 sheets, plus 1 call sheet — 16 in all.

2 sample cards below. Press "Make the cards" for the full set.

The problem this actually solves

A class needs thirty cards that are all different, generated in one go, without an account and without uploading a vocabulary list to somebody else’s server. Most generators fail on at least two of those, and the ones that do not are usually asking for a subscription by the third card.

The duplicate check here is real. Cards are compared square by square and a repeat is discarded and regenerated, so thirty cards means thirty different cards — not thirty draws that were probably different.

And when a request cannot be met, it says so immediately and explains what to change. Ask a list of twenty words for thirty five-by-five cards and you get a sentence naming both numbers, in a millisecond, instead of a tab that spins until the browser offers to close it.

Using your own word list

Paste the week’s vocabulary, spellings, times tables or key terms into the box, one per line. The default list here is common sight words, which is a starting point rather than a curriculum.

A five by five card needs twenty-four squares filled, so a list of twenty-four gives every child the same twenty-four words in a different order — which is fine for a spelling round and useless if you wanted variety. Forty or more and the cards are genuinely different.

Nothing typed in is transmitted anywhere. That is worth knowing before pasting a list that happens to be a class register, and it is a property of the site rather than a promise: there is no upload endpoint for it to go to.

Printing classroom bingo for a group

A five by five card takes 24 of the 40 squares here, so no two cards draw the same set — more different cards than anybody will ever print in all. Set the number to the number of players and print once, and "the" will land in a different square on every card, or not appear on it at all.

Every card is checked against the ones already made, so thirty classroom cards means thirty different ones. If the list were ever too short for the number requested, the generator would say so and name both figures rather than quietly repeat itself.

The print stylesheet drops the page furniture entirely, so what comes out of the printer is classroom bingo cards and nothing else — no header, no navigation, no advertisement — two cards to a sheet unless you ask for one or four, and the call sheet last.

Common questions

Can I make 30 different bingo cards at once?

Yes. Set the number to thirty and print. Every card is checked against the others, so all thirty are genuinely different — and if the word list is too short to make thirty, it tells you exactly how many more words are needed rather than repeating cards.

What size bingo card is best for a classroom?

Three by three for reception and year one, four by four up to about year three, and five by five above that. A smaller grid is not just easier — it finishes faster, which matters when the game has to fit a fifteen-minute slot.

Is my word list uploaded anywhere?

No. The cards are built in your browser by a script that runs on your own machine, and the site makes no request to any server while it does it. Closing the tab discards everything.
